Elephant Necklace by Pauline Rader

IMAG2730IMAG27292016-04-10 16.53.03

A rare and much sought after elephant necklace dating to the 1980s  by Pauline Rader.

Pauline Rader was a jeweller’s daughter who started designing jewellery in the early 60s. Pauline’s designs were produced in very small quantities for select clients and elite boutiques. Therefore her jewellery is difficult to come across and is highly collectable. She stopped designing and producing jewellery in the 80s.

In this mazing necklace, a textured gold tone metal elephant head is suspended from a marbled bead necklace in brown and amber hues.

The elephant head pendant measures 3ins from head to trunk tip and 4ins across ear to ear. It is signed on the back.

The plastic beaded necklace is 22ins in length and has a rear spring ring clasp.
